Paul was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma in August 2023. From diagnosis, Paul survived almost 11 months, 330 days in total. This type of cancer is devastating. The average survival time is short- only 25% of patients live longer than a year, 5 % live longer than 5 years. It is not yet known what causes a Glioblastoma to start growing, and more research and funding is needed to fight this terrible disease. The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally.
